Co-Ed Speed Lacrosse
Co-Ed Speed Lacrosse is our introduction to lacrosse for Pre-K - 3rd Grade. These sessions will run 45 - 60 minutes and will focus on fun drills to build up the basic fundamentals of lacrosse; scooping, passing, catching, and cradling. 1st-3rd Graders will finish each session with 3x3 scrimmages. Speed Lacrosse only requires a stick -- we will often have loaners to provide if your child is still feeling out the sport. These sessions are coached by Park Ridge Lacrosse coaches and aided by star players on Maine South and Notre Dame's Varsity Lacrosse programs - who will often join in the end of practice scrimmages with the kids.
Boys Field Padded (7v7 to 10v10)
Boys Padded Lacrosse is primarily played in the Spring Season, though we may have limited programs in Summer and Fall for certain age groups. This requires full equipment and will consist of practices during the week and games against neighboring community programs on the weekends.
Girls Field Lacrosse
Girls Field Lacrosse is also primarily played in the Spring Season. Girls lacrosse requires a stick and optional eye protection and a mouthguard. This will also consist of practices during the week and league play against neighboring community programs on the weekends.
Skills and Drills / Preseason Tuneups
These are our offseason training sessions we hold in the Fall and Winter to continue building on fundamentals in preparation for the Spring season. These training sessions may include scrimmage games against neighboring programs.
