Fall 2026 - Friday Night Lax
Join us Friday nights at Oakton Sports Complex for some Friday Night Lax during the months of Nov / Dec (excluding holidays).
We will have sessions for the following groups (each will be practicing independently of each other on different fields at Oakton):
Friday Night Schedule
6:30 – 7:30 PM — U8 Boys (non padded) | U10 Boys (padded) | K-1 Speed Lacrosse (non padded) | U8 Girls
7:30 – 8:30 PM — U12 Boys (padded) | U10 Girls
8:30 – 9:30 PM — U14 Boys (padded) | U12/U14 Girls
These practices are open to all, including those new to the sport. We will focus on building fundamental lacrosse skills (passing, scooping, cradling, shooting) and some initial team spacing concepts with a combination of drills and small sided games (3x3, 4x3 West Genny, etc)
Boys: Full pads (except Speed and 8U). Pinnies highly recommended (purchase here if you do not already have a pinnie)
Girls: Sticks and goggles. Pinnies highly recommended
Boys U10-U14 Box Lacrosse
Join Park Ridge Lacrosse as we compete in a winter box lacrosse league against teams such as Barrington and the Junior Trevians. This program includes two league play dates plus a season-ending mini tournament.
The registration fee covers league play only. To maximize playing time and development opportunities, team rosters will be capped at 18 players. We encourage players doing our box program to also sign up for the Friday night skills.
Because of the physical nature of box lacrosse, additional box-specific protective equipment is highly recommended, including bicep pads and rib guards, in addition to standard lacrosse equipment.
This program is recommended for experienced players who have previously played at least one Spring season of lacrosse.
Location: Salt Creek Sports Center, Palatine, IL
Schedule: Saturday afternoons/evenings
Dates:
December 5 – Game times may be scheduled between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM
December 12 – Game times may be scheduled between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM
December 19 – Season-ending Mini Tournament
